Solitude

A biological brain does not necessarily have to be the only possible medium. An artificial neural network could then become a second kind of instrument through which patterns, forms, and ideas can emerge.
Perhaps the truly interesting boundary is ultimately not between the natural and the artificial, but between the different forms matter can take in which intelligence, creativity, and potentially consciousness can emerge.
