Where image meets atmosphere.
I have always been drawn to images that feel slightly out of place. somewhere between reality and imagination. In particular, I have a deep affection for the earlier generations of digitally created imagery. A few years ago, these images were far less polished than they are today. They contained strange details, unexpected imperfections and a certain rawness that modern technology is rapidly learning to erase.
In my own work, in symbiosis with AI we try to create self-contained worlds — places that seem to exist according to their own logic, with their own atmosphere, history and sense of mystery. Worlds that invite you to look a little longer, wander beyond what is immediately visible and, hopefully, lose yourself in them for a while.
Among the images in Amplified Dreams, the short manifestos can almost become a second layer: first you see the image, then you read the thought behind it, and sometimes, you can no longer quite tell whether that thought came from a human, a machine, or from the collaboration between the two.
